Scott Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 The National Archives has told the House Oversight Committee that certain presidential records from the Trump administration remain outstanding, citing information that some White House staff used non-official electronic systems to conduct official business. In a Friday letter to the panel’s chairwoman, New York Democrat Carolyn Maloney, the National Archives and Records Administration, or NARA, said it had been unable to obtain records from a number of former officials and will continue to pursue the return of similar types of Presidential records from former officials. But, “while there is no easy way to establish absolute accountability, we do know that we do not have custody of everything we should,” NARA said. https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/01/politics/national-archives-trump-records-house-oversight-committee/index.html 1
Popular Post SunnyinBangrak Posted October 1, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 1, 2022 I read this as a sly admission that the unprecedented storming of an ex Presidents residence and riffling of his wife's lingerie drawers(although most will have realized this once the desperate leaks started) was a complete failure. Once again they tried to kill the king, and once again they missed. They did not find what they were looking for. To be honest, I welcome the ending of the tacit agreement not to harass ex Presidents and their children. It will provide a huge source of amusement in the near future. Thanks Biden. 1 1 9

They "stormed" Mar a Lago? You must have lived a very sheltered life if you believe s knock on the door and presentation of a warrant constitutes storming. And you know for a fact that none of the documents Trump absconded with don't pose a threat to national security were the information contained within to fall into the wrong hands? You've read the documents? 6 2 3

Popular Post bendejo Posted October 2, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2022 I give up on this. This is going to be dragged out for a very long time, possibly even to the point where the process of how the ink was applied to the paper of these documents is examined. This won't be closed out until DT is in the ground, but maybe some of his bootlicks will live to take the heat. But I am still keeping an eye on the occasional article until the word espionage starts coming up, that may change things. But there's still: fake elector clown show, vote tampering clown show, insurrection attack, NY fraud case, Georgia vote count corruption, probably more I can't think of at the moment. I'm also waiting for those patriotic conservatives to come out for the US giving military support to Russia to defeat Ukraine. It looks like it's getting there. The prominent conservative group decried ‘gift-giving to Ukraine’ while adopting Putin’s view of ‘Ukraine-occupied territories’ 2 1 1 1
Popular Post placeholder Posted October 5, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 5, 2022 These latest revelations should mean that Trump is toast. And not just any toast but the burned-to-a-crisp kind. SURPRISE: TRUMP, A PATHOLOGICAL LIAR, REPORTEDLY ASKED HIS LAWYER TO LIE TO THE GOVERNMENT ABOUT HIS CLASSIFIED-DOCUMENTS CACHE "The Washington Post reports that in early 2022, the ex-president asked Alex Cannon, an attorney who’d work for both the Trump Organization and the Trump campaign, to tell the National Archives and Records Administration that all materials requested by the agency had been turned over, despite the fact that he was still in possession of thousands more government documents. According to the Post, Cannon, who had “facilitated the January transfer of 15 boxes of presidential records from Mar-a-Lago to the National Archives, after archives officials agitated for more than a year to get ‘all original presidential records,’” did not feel comfortable making such a claim. He reportedly told people he didn’t know if all the requested material had been returned, and “other Trump advisers also encouraged Cannon not to make such a definitive statement,” according to people familiar with the matter." https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2022/10/donald-trump-alex-cannon-classified-documents "Complicating matters, the Post’s report added that when it came time to return some materials to the Archives, Trump personally “packed the boxes that were returned in January.” The more the evidence shows the former president had a direct and hands-on role, the less Trump can plausibly blame others in the scandal." https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/maddowblog/mar-lago-case-trump-reportedly-told-lawyer-mislead-archives-rcna50714 3 4

So sad if this is the case, because the USA will have sunk lower than could ever be imagined, goaded and guided by the hands of a dumb pathological liar, narcissist and thief. Perhaps it says more about the USA than could ever be expressed here or elsewhere for that matter. 1 1

I don’t know the man and have never met him obviously but I hate him with every ounce of my soul. The most despicable being in my lifetime (Hitler was long dead by the time I was born). Yet he rose to become the most powerful man in the world, aided by a political system that favoured money and popularity over meritocracy. Important lessons for developing countries. 1

Impotent against SCOTUS, as anyone. However, we don't know how the SC will rule. It already rejected Trump's claims several times in the past. Against FPOTUS, that's another story. There is unambiguous factual evidence and it doesn't look good for Trump.

Mac Mickmanus Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Why not state exactly l what records they found in the recent raids and now what further records are they looking for ? Lets have some clarity here . Is it the codes to the Nuclear bomb or personal love letters from Kim ? 1

There has been unambiguous factual evidence against him in so many different incidents (more than I can repeat here) but so far, all has come to nought. Mueller report, Ukraine, Jan 6, Georgia. Heck, they dare not even charge him. Only Peekaboo. She’s got more balls than Bragg. 1
