I have mate, but can't get the download for the laptop.

I see... the "download for Windows" link does not work.

I have tried using 4 different browsers and it appears that as it appears to be a .msi file my firewall or browser blocks it from downloading.

I was able to see this when I used Firefox... but there is an option to allow the download.

I did not try this (as I don't have a Samsung TV) but suggest that you give it a go.

No you can't... Playstore contains only Android apps, not Windows apps.

I can try to download the Windows app using Firefox if you like, then send it to you.

It's a 10.8 MB file.

I just sent it to you via PM.

I hope House of Dragons is worth it!

I too am downloading the series, but I have read some negative reviews of it on the "What Movies and TV shows are you watching" thread...

And they're connected to the same Wi-Fi network? Not one to 2,4 GHz and the other to 5 Ghz, or the pc through an ethernet cable?

Sorry mate... can't help you out there.

Just a thought... is your laptop hard wired to your router?

If so, disconnect it and use the wifi instead.

Or launch the app from your smart phone instead to check if the TV is working (and connecting) as it should.
