Police Gun Control to Be Tightened after Massacre

 

BANGKOK, (TNA) – The national police chief said he will discuss with the Interior Ministry control on police’s firearms after the massacre by a former policeman and the police would work out its own measures related to the weapons of present and former police.

Thailand has the highest number of privately owned guns in ASEAN

Out of ten ASEAN member countries, Thailand has the highest number of guns in the possession of private individuals, with 10,342,000 guns being recorded in 2017, according to the Small Arms Survey (SAS).

THE owner of a shop selling cannabis infused craft sodas on Khao San road was arrested today (Oct. 7) after using a skateboard to hit a foreign tourist on the head and face before dawn yesterday, Sanook.com said.
