Pol. Lt. Gen. Yanyong Wech-osoth, commander of this regional police force, ordered the dismissal of Pol. Maj. Gen. Paisan Luesomboon, deputy chief of the same regional police force, from his post as spokesman. He was replaced by Pol. Maj. Gen. Puttipong Musikul, another deputy chief of Provincial Police Region 4.
