Daily News Thai Caption: (The spirit) can't go anywhere yet

Daily News reported from Uthai Sawan following the massacre there last week.

They interviewed a local woman who claimed that the spirit of the man responsible for the murder of three dozen people, many of them little children, was wandering the area with nowhere to go.

Suwan Tonsomsen, 53, a female neighbor of the ex-cop Panya Khamrap who committed the atrocity said that she had known him since he was little and had helped him during the dramas of childhood.

All that changed when he got mixed up in drugs and she ceased contact.

She wasn't home on the day of the massacre but related how Panya had arrived and tried to set fire to their house and vehicle by lighting shoes.

Her husband and two handicapped relatives had managed to get away then returned to put out the fire.

They called police but they were not in time to stop what happened next. Panya shot his wife and child dead then took his own life.

As no one had performed a ceremony to help the spirits of the deceased move on she employed the services of a monk and did it herself finishing at 8pm.

Then all the dogs in the area started barking.

Then, she claimed, the lights in Panya's house went on and off two or three times.

Both herself and her relatives then saw the spirit of Panya wandering around his house as though he wanted to cut the grass.

Doubting what she saw she said that the monk at the ceremony confirmed that it was his spirit.

The next day she asked Panya's step-father about what they saw and he confirmed that no one was allowed in the home that had been sealed off by police.

She said that this really put the hair up on the back of her neck.

She said: "The spirit had nowhere to go and has been wandering in the area for a long time".

Ten other people saw the spirit, she claimed.

She also claimed that some people had heard howling sounds coming from Panya's house.

Probably a thief checking out if the deceased had left any drugs or valuables behind. Turning lights on and off as searching rooms.

Question: How can you tell someone wants to cut the grass by how they wander around the house? Were they pushing a lawnmower?

Me too.......

I've seen his spirit wandering around Pattaya, down soi Buakhao.

Can't see any tape around the property sealing it. PhetPhet is probably correct the house would already be plundered and his possessions found in new houses, and why someone got close enough to film the 4x4 surely that would have been taped off. bet the Vultures have already removed the Battery and radio. The only place this scunbag is wandering is hell.

Not any shoe will burn the house down, it's a specific type and shoes must be dry before lighting them.

Bet "shoe" is no better than some flipflops or plastic sandals.

Need to see a psychiatrist.

But you would be stunned how many Thais will buy the tales.

The corpse was cremated without ceremony or monks.

No wonder the ghost can't rest ????

Yeah right, and the lottery numbers are 37 and 8!

And yet, in the land of 63 million + smartphones...

No a single shred of video, or even the usual blurry ghost pic, to back up her buffalo dung story.

Some people will try to get attention from almost anything, no matter how vile.

What a sad loser.

My guess is that whoever is seeing the ghost gets the yaba from the same supplier as the burn

in hell policeman

Call Dr. Harvey (movie, Casper) or “Ghostbusters”?

His House should be burned to the Ground in a fire that will send him and any spirit to Hell

Unfortunately it will sit empty for ages, as no one will dare buy it or rent it, and even if it was burned to the ground the Thai's will continue to believe that the spirits will still inhabit the space.  Need a good monk filled prayer circle ringing the property to cleanse the bad juju

Not correct.

Cremated yesterday at Wat Mai Nong Hin, Udon Thani as the abbot agreed for the cremation to take place there; four monks performed the ceremony.

If you see him again point him in the direction of hell.

Surely he's in Hell?

One hopes so...
