One party makes one step forwards ,  but political opponents want it to go 2 steps backwards again after the legalization became a success ?

Ridiculous .

Cannabis consumption is becoming legalized everywhere in the world soon .

Even Germany wants to legalize it now .

But only in Thailand we have the always backwards orientated who want to return to how it was before . Why ? Was it so much better before the legalization ? What to do with the freed inmates ? Catch them and put them back to prison ?

Move forward , Thailand , become an open-minded , tolerant and peaceful society , if that is possible . Every step in the right direction counts , The future will not repeat the past , and it should not be up to some left-behind politicians to decide about that , but to the people .

The trickle up has weaned off

Opposition parties plan to ask Thailand’s Election Commission (EC) to dissolve the Bhumjaithai Party, for alleged violation of the Political Parties Act, over its policy to decriminalise cannabis.

My advice to these bunglers...if you can't beat them, join them.
