Two Russians, one Thai dead after three vehicle crash in Rawai, Phuket

Rawai – Two Russian nationals and one Thai died after a big bike, a motorbike, and a taxi car collided in Rawai.


Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 3:30 A.M. early this morning (November 4th) on Wiset Road in the Rawai sub-district, Mueang Phuket district.

 

The rescue workers arrived at the scene to find the damaged big bike, the motorbike, and the taxi car on the road. Nearby, rescue staff found the body of the 35-year-old Russian man big bike rider. A 29-year-old Russian woman, the passenger who was found nearby, was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Wonder if they had just arrived on one of the newest flights from Russia and why the need for possible speed if they were here to relax....At that time of the morning one wonders if alcohol played a part.  RIP to all 3.

Viset racetrack, no surprise. People drive 100+ there will others leave supercheap with a fully loaded sidecar or dream. With also kids going to school this is becoming more and more dangerous for regular users every day.

Out for an early morning ride in the fresh air... after-all bars close at 2am
