You don't need to go. Print out the confirmation that your registration is done is enough. Immi happy with that.

You trust them when they show personal details of passport for all to see in their website?

Yes, you may find it very convenient.  But I won't trust a company who would post my personal data openly in their website.  Those guesthouse/hotel owners who use this "service" are compromising their guests' personal data.

Thanks for that - just out of interest I looked at the bookings and it offered me various slots from 03:00 to 07:45 on Friday 13th! I think I'll pop in one day as it's not much of a detour on my usual daytrips and suss it out.

But, good to know that they do them - thanks.

  • 4 months later...

On the appointment calendar, what is the difference between Short-term Extension and Tourism Purpose?

I want to do a 30-day extension on visa-exempt entry stamp at Blue Tree. Does there need to be a TM30 for me in the system, or do I just need the address of where I'm staying? Is the TM30 something I can self-report online, or does my landlord need to do it for me?

Always use the online registration. Last time 5 weeks ago. Works fine since years.

Got a link, this is the residential address doc?

Bluetree are MEANT to do it, but always send you to either PHUKET or PATONG (apparently Patong do).

Having said that, i recently heard it's now being handled in Samui by the transport office... i guess immigration there are fed up with farang not wanting to pay the 500 thb tea money so offloaded, personally, i am happy paying the 500 THB even though its meant to be free simply to just have the blasted thing (need for yacht license).
