Thai Rath reported that violence erupted following a concert at the Phra Naresuan the Great fair in Phitsanulok, northern Thailand yesterday.

After a concert seven or eight assailants attacked a man called Sakhon, 34, from Buriram who was left unconscious.

Relatives and his girlfriend who tried to stop the violence were ignored as fists and kicks flew in.

But the violence was filmed by a member of the public giving the police a strong lead.

Muang district police chief Pol Col Phakphoom Prapsriphoom said he expected quick arrests in the matter.

Their mother will say"My boy is a good boy but some one made him angry"

Lucky for the victim no one was wearing combat boots.

8-1, possibly a bit below the usual 10/12-1 ratio. Such brave guys these young Thai men.

Attacking like a pack of rabid dogs, so they should be treated like rabid dogs and put down.

As long as this head kicking on the floor isn't finally convicted as attempted murder, it's a gentleman's offense. It would be better: For every kick in the head 1 year in the worst Thai jail.......

Seven or eight against one.  Just another normal type of altercation in the LOS

There used to be a YouTube clip of a fight outside a bar in Bangkok, around soi 4. Three of four guys had attacked an older white mail who was down and out but was still being aggressively kicked in the head, repeatedly, by a young Thai guy who had no concept of the damage he was doing. What was striking, apart from the degree of brutality, was the laughing face of the young guy who was thoroughly happy and pleased with what he was doing, it was as though he was on the soccer field with a football. Scary and not untypical, by all accounts.

Examples need to be made to deter this type of violence. Prison terms, large fines, restitution to the person that was attacked. These problems have grown out of hand.

They always do that. It's the Thai way, they keep kicking until there is no more movement. Never seen a Thai fight where they stop when the guy is down but still stirring.
