Phuket – The Department of Land Transport Phuket Office has warned of what they call an online and illegal driving license scam.

The driving license service scam has gone viral in social media including Phuket ex-pat social media groups and in similar groups in Pattaya this week. TPN media notes the alleged scammers even tried to post the “offer” in TPN media owned groups, but were rejected.

 

The post states that a 100 percent legal driving license service is being offered with no need to go to the Land Transport Office by yourself, take an exam, test, or any qualification requirements.

If someone believed that then they almost deserve to be scammed. Almost.

Needless to say that once you give them your details, your identity will be used everywhere, but the world is full of Galahs that will believe everything...

Although that was from the Phuket LTO boss I know for a fact it was done in Pattaya some years ago via at least one of the driving schools........Maybe it doesn't happen any more 

The only thing the students had to do then was turn up and have their photograph taken.....

Find out who says "Thor" instead of "for" and you are one step closer to the perpetrator. I have seen similar claims on line before.
