Thailand's biggest enemy is her own people, crooks wherever you look, corrupt whatever you touch - to the utter demise of all those honest, uneducated and ignorant Thais who still believe in amulets, meteor showers and lucky lottery numbers.

In luxury one would say....

He has seen the world but now he knows there is no place like home, no place like home. Yes it's not Kanas but it's your home so come on back. Who knows there might be a parade down main street just for you?

True enough.

But overall, Thailand is not doing so bad. Look at the Europe sh!t-show, and the problems in Sth and Nth America.

They could always arrest a few corrupt MP's while they are waiting for Thaksin's return.

And that would mean the dissolution of parliament as every one of them is in it up to their eyeballs.

Let's make a deal!

A deal ... thaksin and who?

Seems to me the only deal possible would be between thaksin and the judiciary / judicial processes.

Would / could the judiciary agree to a deal to cancel charges against him?

If they did it would make the judiciary look highly corrupt / full of collusion / lacking in credibility.

Surely not a good move.

Yes starting with the present unelected PM, his sleeping partner, Anutin etc, etc, I am not saying whether Thaksin should be jailed or not, but he was democratically elected, which can't be said about Cha Cha and his crew.

It is an accepted fact that they are all of that already, and have been for decades.
