I see it as stirring the sh_it.

That's valid but maybe it's <deleted> that is worth stirring.

You think that it's worth antagonising Russian citizens in Thailand just for the hell of it?   What have they done to anyone to your knowledge?

I think it’s immature & antagonistic..     Contrary to what sone halfwitted  posters here think I doubt many Russians here feel any degree of support for the actions of their government

  • I didn't wear an Iraqi t-shirt when the USA and its lapdogs decide to bomb the place back into the Stone Age all those year ago so I shan't be wearing a Ukraine t-shirt now.

Wearing such in the crowd at a major football match (i.e. WC final) fair enough), wearing such in Thailand, it looks like you’re a Karen hunting for a conflict.

Most Russians do support Putin.

Younger ones less so.

Well said, even I believe most here do not compare Saddam and family to Ukraine Government.

Just add a few English russian news channels to your feed, and you kind of understand why.

To the title of thread ... why would you, unless you're simply a sh!t stirrer.

Would a Jew go downtown Berlin in WW2 with a Star of David, or some neo Nazi go see the sights in Israel today with a Nazi swastika t-shirt.

Som naa na if you do ????

I certainly wouldn't wear my Grand Wizard attire in Claiborne County, Mississippi ????

Sadly - he's declared himself - no longer a wizard under the sheets....????

Agree, don't bring the conflict inside Thailand.

Further, I wonder how well informed the russian tourists are in regard to the war / putins actions and objectives.

I think I'd opt for the 4 new flag colors of RU:

Lugansk, Donetsk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye or Kherson.   Maybe a collage of all ????

What do you think about wearing Ukranian colors around Russians in Thailand?

I wouldn't do something like that merely to intentionally try to provoke them.

Probably for the same reason I wouldn't wear an Antifa "Punch Nazis" t-shirt around Ukranian tourists.

I have, doesn't make any sense in the context of this thread.  What I did think about is why you would want to wear the "colours" of possibly the most corrupt country in Europe?

I see.

Broadcasting Russian propaganda.

I wish this topic could have been limited to comments from people that actually support Ukraine's defense against Russia.

Obviously if you're not that there is no reason to show support.

Corrupt or not Putin had no right to invade.

They said that religion is the opiate of the masses. Politics must be the YaaBaa. There is more to life, turn off the talking heads on the TV, and smell the roses.

I didn't say that he had.   I just wondered why you'd want to wear the "colours" of the most corrupt country in Europe.

Unfortunate a chess game with more stakes and players. Always innocent people who suffer for the world politics.

I actually used a T-shirt with Peace when I made a documentary back in 2003. And some bashed me for that, both people I knew and those I did not know.

Make/buy a T- shirt with peace sign on and a flag. Let us know how it goes.

Putin is a dictator. Fact.

No, that's impotent rage.  Russia is a democracy.  Putin won multiple elections.

Because you don't like a person who wins an election doesn't make him a dictator.

Meanwhile, it's perfectly clear that Biden bombed Nordstream.  We have his explicit declaration that he would do so, we have cui bono, and we now have serious journalists providing us with all of the details.

When is Article V to be invoked?

Ukrainians are defending their homeland from an invading and occupying force..

Very different to why Russian soldiers are there.

Not an unprovoked war.  Even the Israelis are abandoning ship.  Plainly the thinking was that we would cripple Russia's economy.  We've only made it stronger, as is plain to anyone here in Pattaya at the moment.

Time to admit we were wrong.

Why would we want to limit discussion to only those who agree with us?  Not much of a discussion then, little more than an echo chamber..........and something a dictator would surely support.

I wouldn't say Putin is always right, but in this case, ethnic cleansing has consequences.

Because this wasn't intended to be a political debate about whether Ukraine is in the right or not to defend their sovereign borders.

There are MANY OTHER topics for that here!

It's about whether it has value or not for people that DO support Ukraine on this to show that publicly in Thailand where there are a lot of Russians now.

Because thus topic has been hijacked by Putin apologists or worse, sadly, I wonder if it should just be closed.

Why would I support Bandera Nazi's?

Maybe ask the Jewish leadership of Ukraine.

The far right got very little support in their last election.

The Russians are the fascist side in this war.

Alot to choose between, so why not? If thats what you want, you can!

Very well.  I'll sign off to avoid subjecting you to an opposing viewpoint.
