Daily News Thai Caption: Negligence

 

Kelangnakorn police in the northern Thai province of Lampang were called after a 17 year old boy was shot in the cheek by a friend yesterday.

 

It happened at a sala at the Ban Kat Tai school.

 

Dead at the scene was Mongkhon from Pong Saen Thong sub-district. He had been shot by a 380 bullet.

 

An adapted BB gun with a magazine and two bullets was recovered at the scene, reported Daily News.

 

Natthawut, 20, from Kat Tai, said he was with five friends including the victim.

 

He had been shown a gun by Mongkhon and asked if it was loaded. He was told it was.

 

In examining the weapon it went off by accident and hit his friend in the face.

 

Five 17-20 year olds had their hands checked for gunshot residue and were helping Pol Capt Sirirat Jaisaenwong with his inquiries.

Poor kid, RIP ???? young fella. Buy-back amnesty, amongst other gun-removal laws and enforcement needed ASAP. 

Too many people have guns. Why did the owner of the gun need it?

Well as long as theydidn't buy Alcohol between two and five

The natural law of extintion of idiots...  would you expect different results if one was to ride his bike into a tree full speed with no helmet which seems to be common also off to a better place

Both the victim and the spectacularly stupid kid who shot the gun were very light on survival instincts. Dumb and dumber. Not much to say, really.
