This “self created trap” as you describe is a psychological trap that needs to be re-thought out. I never been in such of a relationship but have been in situations where I needed to do a mind reset of psychologically preparing for the next phase and implementing the execution of it. If you overthink about the situation then you’ll probably remain overwhelmed. Or, as others have mentioned, be decisive grab your personal belongings and bolt on out of there ASAP and save yourself.
So how many do you think ? , do you include the Chinese ,Taiwanese ,Japanese
and other SE Asian criminals or just Farangs ,Pattaya seems to be a magnet
that draws them in .

Ask the barowners who have lost all they had in Thailand because their gf convince them that its a great business.
All over Thailand these bars going down.Often the owner sit down and drink up the small profit until they can't pay rent or electric bills etc etc
If the EU increases financial regulation it will apply equally to the US financial sector. Far from driving business from London to Frankfurt, it may well either aid London's position or, alternatively, lead to US financial companies downsizing their European operations.
Clearly, neither outcome is in Frankfurt's best interests.
