This Tuesday, the UK government surprised everyone by making an extraordinary change in its position towards Israel as the minister, Hamish Falconer, condemned Benjamin Netanyahu’s move to ethnically cleanse Gaza. This followed a rare display of unity amongst MPs across party lines to demand the government to immediately recognise the independent State of Palestine. One Tory MP, Mark Pritchard, said he was wrong to have supported Israel for the last 20 years.
No, he doesn't sound worse. And he doesn't get "lost" getting to podiums, and such.
That said, Trump is clearly completely clueless on the details and implications of policy, and generally rudderless - seems to "believe" the last thing he heard, hence the conflicting statements. But, none of this is new. See his 1st Term.
I just saw a middle-aged Thai woman with the words "F*** the ___" something tattooed on her arm. I couldn't make it out.
She's probably quite poor and disenfranchised. So can we let her express some angst through a tattoo?
Or do we need to judge her?
