Phuket – A wanted Russian man was arrested at the Phuket International Airport over allegedly importing illegal drugs.

 

The Phuket Immigration Office told the Phuket Express that on Wednesday (March 8th) they have arrested MR. ALEKSANDR KHUBBEEV, 37, a Russian national.

 

He is a wanted suspect with an arrest warrant from a Thai criminal court.

Good point, but why did he choose to come to Thailand, presumably he could have gone to a country where he does not have an outstanding arrest warrant?
