Locals in the north east of Thailand are hoping to win big in the latest draw - tomorrow Thursday March 16th - thanks to a mysterious stone.

 

It appeared in the cassava field of a lady called Wipha who claimed to have had several lottery wins off the back of it.

Now all the locals in the Non Din Daeng sub-district of Buriram have been arming themselves with joss-sticks and fizzy drink - essential equipment in divining the numbers, reported Siam Rath.

 

Along with the all important praying.

 

It's nearly lottery time again in Thailand!

Unfortunately for the rest of Thailand that is also the way how they decide who to vote for... 

They still don't get it... In the hereafter they will never give you something for the benefit for money... Other clues maybe, but never to gain money....

After gazing at the miracle rock for the last 30 minutes, 071......thank me later.

One simple explanation is that very few reach that stage in life here.

When people are so poor all they can do is pray and hope. Just one suggestion and they will all flock "Just in case". Then if someone wins (probability of numbers) then the object's value soars.

An entire life spent toiling for 12 hours a day in a furnace like field for 200 baht, with no other way out of it.

I was reading this article and told my wife 'Oh, tomorrow's the lottery'  She told me she wanted to buy 88.  I asked her why those numbers.  She said she saw them on the papaya we had picked earlier today.
