Try that it Bangkok.

For TDL they require a certificate of residence or embassy letter.

To renew my license in Bangkok last year I only needed the old license and my pink ID. They did not even want to see my passport.

So in-person Passport renewal is a thing again? Or does it require some sort of special circumstance?

They prefer mail-ins but will process in person applications.

How would know that the "norm" is for something you only have to do once every five years? Are you saying you tried to use your pink ID and were unsuccessful?

This was the first time I renewed in Bangkok, and it included a change of address as my old address and all previous renewals were in Prachinburi.

Also watched the video at home online, so I did not have to take it at the office.

Which transport office?

Was a simple question.

The "norm" is what everyone else needs to supply for DTL renewal

How do you know what everyone else needs to supply for DLT renewal?

Again are you saying you tried to use your pink ID and were unsuccessful?

It's useful to others to read trip reports regarding what is required for this and that.

You stated pink card was sufficient in Bangkok.

Mind you asked 3 times which office and yet no reply.

In any event out of this mindless chit chat.

I have replied each time, and I have asked you each time if you have tried unsuccessfully to use your pink ID and you have refused to answer that simple question.

Why should I answer all your questions, when you refuse to answer mine?

I have not used a pink id card for proof of address when applying for TDL in Bangkok.

I used a certificate of residence.

Some use "letter" from embassy.

I used my old DL and pink ID to renew my DL at Bangkok DLT Office Area 4 last year.

I did not have, nor was I asked for a C of R.

As I stated earlier certificate of residence is only provided by CW if you have done 90 day reports..

Yes realize that's only one province however many trying to obtain TDL consequently obtain letter from embassy.

How about if the applicant has a 90 day non B visa from an embassy?
