Canon G2010 printer / scanner compatibility

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if this will work with Mac OS 13.3.1?

I've youtube it and googled it and it seems possible but it quite clearly stated on the box in the shop 'not compatible with Macs'?

Over the years it's just been plug and play with a variety of printers.......

Any input appreciated.

Not found a solution to it, let us know if you do.

Not found a solution, as in you tried without success?

Found this video on YouTube, also spoke to a couple guys i know that when it says it's not compatible with Mac OS all it really means is that it's not plug and play and you need to download the driver ( which i find strange )

Again, thanks for that - the plot thickens.

To make an item not compatible with Mac OS makes no sense to me....i find this all very strange

Correct.

The boy in the shop had made up the receipt when i noticed that statement on the box said not good for Macs so i aborted the purchase.

Came home, did a bit of research and thought it'd be ok.

Had i not heard from you i'd planned to go back and buy tomorrow so, nice one - you've saved me about 6K.
