Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell, 81, stops and stares blankly into space. Not too old.  Sen. Chuck Grassley is 88 years old. Older than Biden but who cares?

While it's an attrocity, IMO, that anyone past retiring age should be a representative, to state the flaming obvious, neither of them is the leader of the free world ( though I hope they come up with a better term than that as IMO the "free" world ain't free any longer ).

This topic has devolved into MAGA types making unsubstantiated accusations which are quickly rebutted with documented facts.

LOL. IMO it's the opposite.

Anyway, I can't be a MAGA type as I'm not an American, and I don't care if America is great or not, just as long as they keep China away from me till I pass.

However, the mere thought of those two being in charge of the "free world" for another 4 years terrifies me.

They believe the poll if it's a woke answer.

They slam the poll if it's unwoke.

Really easy to understand.

I think all the polls are suspect, and just reflect the political opinions of those paying for the poll.

Indeed. A poll can support any contention, depending on the wording, IMO.

Until and unless Russia is evicted from Ukraine, China cannot be deterred.

Trump was and is weak on Ukraine, much to the delight of Xi.

I suspect American nukes are a sufficient deterrent, at least for what is left of my time on this planet.

You don't need to be American to by a MAGA type, you live in New Zealand right?

Who would've thought a hat emblazoned with a United States politician's slogan would cause so much controversy half a world away in New Zealand? But during the past two weeks, that's what's happened with Make America Great Again caps.

In late May, new National Party leader Todd Muller came under fire for displaying a MAGA hat in his office.

Then, a teacher wore a Make America Great Again hat to a Black Lives Matter protest in Auckland after African American man George Floyd was killed by a US police officer who knelt on his neck for more than eight minutes, sparking outrage both at the event and online and leading to a flurry of complaints to the Teachers' Council.

American nukes cannot be used against China except in the event of a direct attack on the US.

Xi is too smart for that. Unless Russia is defeated, Xi will attack the "grey areas" where America cannot use nukes. Like Putin attacked Ukraine.

Does New Zealand have a law prohibiting its citizens from being fans of foreign political leaders and their programs? Is it treason, if you do?  If not, you can definitely be a fan of Make America Great Again and Donald Trump.

Yet you seem to be the kind of person who thinks that "links" must be facts!

Can you describe a better way of demonstrating facts here than using linked articles?

Possibly a description of what a'link' actually is and what it does would help Liverpool Lou.

If you were Xi, how sure would you be that the US would not use nukes if they invaded Australia?

I'm not claiming that they would be a first response.

Heres  joke.

Trump and Biden both sitting in a jail cell together.

One turns to the other and says,  "What you in for? "

The other responds "Same as you! "

Still waiting for the punchline.

Insurrection?  Paying off a pornstar while your wife is pregnant?

Here's a Bloomberg video that explains the 90+ charges - please match those with which Biden would be charged.

???? Thanks in advance

The charge is dishonesty.  That's the jokes punchline.  Both are as dishonest as each other. Its not about counting felonies and grading each other.

All politicians in all countries are by definition dishonest to one degree or another!

Some just take it to Mega MAGA heights!

They both do mega dishonesty. . Equally as dishonest as each other.  Perfectly the same. Matching like two peas.  Twins.

The point is that Xi would be a lot more aggressive if the US dropped its support for Ukraine.

Conversely, if Ukraine wins and Putin is deposed/killed, Xi is going to think twice about future aggresive moves.

As a left winger I think all the extremely rich (legit or not) should be lined up against a wall and shot. Anyone thinking different is probably a right winger.

But it's funny to see all you faux lefty wokes trying to justify the crooked actions of the 'suddenly rich'.

Pathetic response from a similar poster.

That would be Jared Kushner.

If Joe Biden is guilty of such "mega dishonesty," why is is that the House Oversight Committee, (with its broad jurisdictional and legislative authority and under the chairmanship of James Comer, who has made it his mission to unearth any wrongdoing by the President) has been unable to find a single shred of actual evidence against him?

Why?  Because such 'dishonesty' lives only in the minds of the hypocritical, one-eyed apologists

So, charges/felonies are irrelevant.   A person who crossed the street when the lights were red is thrown into the same basket as Charles Manson, or the Bali bomber.  Nice, I like your logic but there still isn't a 'punchline'.
