Oh! This is very sad.

Joe was always helpful, and never got muddy over the endless debates on here like the rest of us bored old grumps.

I've always wished for an obituary page on the site, but unless we are known offline to another, we're untraceable, and depart unnoticed.

Anyway, many other visa experts on other forums are not youngsters either, and since it's a labour of love, when they all die off, we who remain to struggle with the various regional immigration dumpster fires will all be poorer for it.

RIP Ubon Joe humble helpful legend!

I've not posted on this forum for years, but had to dig out my old login details in order to add my condolences to the family of Ubon Joe. Whenever he replied to a question I had, or whenever I saw a reply by him to others I knew I could take that information to the Bank. RIP Sir, and thank you.

RIP Ubon Joe

RIP UBON JOE, I thought he was an eternal being, always wondering who was behind this pseudo. He was always right in his answers, very patient and helped everyone here without failing. I really hope he got well rewarded for his effort and time spent here. Hope he got the beautiful life he certainly deserved.

It feels very strange to know he is gone, no more peace of mind thinking no problem I will ask Ubonjoe. This man was a hero for all expats in Thailand...

Sad that I missed this at the time. Ubon Joe helped me and many others over the years. May he Rest In Peace. My condolences to his family and friends.
