Popular Post mania Posted May 9, 2023 Popular Post Posted May 9, 2023 Quote While police are still searching for Pong, they think she is safe. From the story...I wonder why the police think this? Unless this perps MO is keeping a sex slave somewhere Also from the story the killer a 44 year old ex-con who just got out of prison for sex crimes claims the boy & girl were drug runners who lied about where they hid drugs? Sounds off & I dont imagine these kids standing up to a 44 yr old drug pusher & keeping the drugs for themselves In any case RIP young man & hope they find your girlfriend alive to tell the story of what happened 18 1 2 1 5

While I agree that the drug cartels are ruthless and an abomination to civilization... the "gone too young" was a choice that he made. First... do not become a drug mule... second... if you do don't rip off the cartel... you can't fix stupid. 3 10 6

Maybe he was forced into it or threatened. We can't pass judgement on someone for a situation we will never know the entire story about. Either way he was indeed gone too soon. 7 2 2
Popular Post ezzra Posted May 9, 2023 Popular Post Posted May 9, 2023 Stories such as the above and others similar are part of everyday life where people, young and old engaged in crimes of all sorts and mainly in the drug trade that seems to be a very lucrative one, I can't imagine a society where there are no crimes, or drug dealings, and when you have those, and no matter how the police will try to manage and control crimes, you also will have victims, rightly or wrongly, the young will still die. 1 2

I think an important factor is police don't try to manage and control crime; instead, they profit from it through bribes and participation. Not all but many. 3 6
Popular Post IamNoone88 Posted May 9, 2023 Popular Post Posted May 9, 2023 Good job by the RTP for catching this guy. Bad job by the prison authorities for releasing this habitual criminal who crimes just escalated. RIP kid .... you made some bad decisions and sadly paid the ultimate price. 8 2

It makes no sense. Maybe the guy wanted a piece of the girlfriend and they tried to resist? or maybe she was already sleeping with him and the kid found out and confronted him? It's extremely weird that the gf would ride with him (without trying to run away or ask for help) after she witnesses him murder her bf. Unless she was in on it or sleeping with him already. 4 4

Any criminal in Thailand has to have an excuse, from brake failure, to he ripped me off. BTW I really liked Joe Ferrari's excuse's. Who knows what actually happened. At the end of the day he savagely murdered a person 3 3
hotchilli Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 Two sixteen year olds playing the drug game as runners. No schooling and no work, drugs become the go-to for an income. Sounds like the boy got on the wrong side of a deal and the young girl got implicated. The boy is dead, god knows what happened to the girl, last seen with the suspect at a realtives cow shed taking her off somewhere. As he has previous form for sex crimes I think she was raped and dumped somewhere. 1 3 1

I fear accepting bribes is the least of it. More like taking part and being involved themselves. Likely the army too. Not much morality at the higher levels here. 3

brianthainess Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 This whole story is very strange, his friends (possibly involved also in drugs) would have known what he was up to ''drug running'' is open to to a few interpretations, his GF was last seen with Chaiwat, so he has either killed her or she's gone into hiding either voluntary or not, but my first question still remains Where is the lads Motorbike, ????????????? (could the GF have gone off on it. ?) 1

Every homeless person, every drug addict you see in the streets, wish they had a different life. There are many reasons, excuses, how one could end up in the gutter. 3 1

While drugs are a hole people fall into, many of the people involved, particularly traffickers are doing what they want. What is saddest about attics is the number of well-meaning people that do more harm than good.

Lightning speed arrest and confession does not always mean a good investigation. I hope their is other evidence because we have seen other interviews that went terribly wrong. Not only do his parents want justice they want the person who did this bang to rights not some fall guy 4
Popular Post Docno Posted May 10, 2023 Popular Post Posted May 10, 2023 Who knows how much of his story is true. Guy confesses after a lengthy interrogation. We know that in countries where police are disciplined and where interrogations are filmed, a lot of people confess to crimes they did not commit (25% of post-conviction DNA exonerations can be traced back to this). But let's say (and hope) the police have other solid evidence, and this guy is the perpetrator. Then he has every incentive to (in his mind) mitigate his actions by saying the youth was a drug dealer who ripped him off etc etc. I wouldn't assume any of that is necessarily true until there is other corroboration. 4 1
Popular Post shackleton Posted May 10, 2023 Popular Post Posted May 10, 2023 We need the girl involved in this murder to confirm to police the true story if drugs were involved Hopefully she will be found okay 2 2
