Yeah, Fox thinks Trump might win the election. Yawn.

There isn't any history of a failed president winning a second term after losing re-election the first time. .

The first Democrat elected after the Civil War in 1885, our 22nd and 24th President Grover Cleveland was the only President to leave the White House and return for a second term four years later (1885-1889 and 1893-1897).

He won the popular vote in three presidential elections—1884, 1888, and 1892—though Benjamin Harrison won the electoral college vote and thus the presidency in 1888.

As a Brit I enjoy watching our former colonies make a dog's dinner of running their country.

I hope Trump wins, not because he's the best candidate but because I enjoyed waking up every morning and having a good laugh at what he had done the previous day.

Please enjoy my post as the humour it's intended to be (note the correct spelling of humour).

I do tend to agree. He has accomplished quite a bit. Striking down Trumps environmental policies  alone was huge. For God's sake, the monster wanted to sell off the national park system, to mining, timber and big oil!

And Biden is a decent man, unlike the orange one. But, as a dem, I wish we had better alternatives and I do believe by not going with one, the dems have risked alot

It was the BLM that wanted to sell land to oil developers

And the whole world would not have so many problems right now. Lets hope he wins in 2024!

He has a much bigger mess to clean up !  Me thinks the power of the pen will be used exhaustedly. Unfortunately he needs help from others ! Hes got some good surrogates in his camp ,Jim Jordan

Brian Donalds  Josh Hawley , JD Vance to name a few!

Gotta  convince the Gen Z socialists and independents that they chose the wrong people to lead the country imop! No easy task!

I like his no war record! Maybe that will help change their minds.

18 months is a long time till elections.

In case you forgot:

“The lands Trump tried to cut out of the Staircase have an ‘open for business’ sign on them. Off-road vehicles, coal mining, drilling and other activities that without a doubt would destroy monument objects would be allowed,” said Steve Bloch, legal director for the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance. “Even in areas that remain in the monument, the plan would drive down protections to the lowest common denominator that would result in damage to culture sites, paleontological resources, and riparian areas and wilderness.”

There were countless other areas he wanted to open up to his corporate cronies. The national park system in the US, is by far the greatest in the world and makes the nation so unique. These are spectacular and precious, protected lands, that the orange one simply considered a nuisance. Has he ever even been to a national park? I doubt it.

Strange prophesy as the first actual primary is not until 2-24, 8 months away.

A lot can happen in 8 months.  Trump in 2015 had no lead at this point, but became a contender after the first debate

First debate September, which is 4 months away.  Anything can happen.

The problem with the alternatives argument is that you have to name one. Who is the go-getter, Trump-slayer that the worrywart alternative-moaners want?

I'll bite. My 'dark horse': J.B. Pritzker, 2-term Governor of Illinois.
