Ron DeSantis just had a tumultuous launch of his presidential campaign, to say the least. But the Florida governor appears more concerned with the fact that the liberal elites are trying to keep his wife, Casey, off magazine covers.

“If she were a Democrat, she’d be on every fashion magazine,” DeSantis said on The Mark Levin Show on Wednesday. “But because we’re conservative, we know that that’s not what happens. In reality, it will be the opposite, where they try to really attack.”

Yes, Dark Brandon is plotting the minutia of fashion magazine covers - do people really buy magazines anymore. Very sinister. George Soros is said to be involved as well. Also could be a symptom of the Woke Mind Virus, which is evidently a thing now, at least with the rightwing nut jobs.

Stop being a big cry baby and you are no conservative you are a wanna be authoritarian now you are so desperate for free publicity that you are pimping out your old lady in a sense if your that desperate ship some defenseless minority for attention geese!

May have a point here. Conservative women in general are much more attractive than lefty.  Consider the myriad magazine covers that Michelle Obama got compared to Melania Trump. Now, only one of those ladies is a fashion model, so....

Kristi Noem vs. Katie Hobbs?

Megyn Kellly vs. Rachel Maddow?

Come on, man!

Hang on there, Ronnie, she may make the cover of True Crime magazine with the caption "Living With That Man Was Pure Hell!"

It's probably not true, but in case it were: as a magazine cover often comes with an interview: has Melania anything interesting to say (compared to Michelle Obama)?

There he goes again!

Very weak tea that DeSantis.

This is a copy of the exact same complaint of Mr. Trump and his wife.

Is this supposed to steal Trump votes?

It’s known as grievance politics, there is nothing that can’t be the subject of rightwing grievance.

There’s a few stops on the way that are of more interest.

The problem was, after Melania DID have something interesting to say, Michele Obama had already said it:

Right. It's not like the current VP had been Attorney General of the fifth world's economy, and also a Senator involved in key committees,

Oh wait!

Well, one thing is for sure, VP Harris most definitely has had a lot of experience working under older men.

Well, Mrs. DeSantis is definitely in the news these days, and has the added bonus of being drop dead gorgeous.  Her story of surviving cancer and so on would be compelling reading.  A nice young couple with cute kids? What a change for people like them to be in the White House, eh?

It's a good thing that people like you focus on the important stuff (though linkingRon to niceness is questionable) like having a nice family in the White House. I well remember how the people in the mideast rejoiced that during the George W. Bush presidency, there was a nice family in occupancy. I'lm sure that they took great comfort in that.

What's more, she's a graduate of a prestigious, if imaginary, university.

Melania Trump's website taken down after degree claim debunked

Melania Trump's website that had incorrectly claimed that she had received a college degree has been removed and the address now redirects visitors to the Trump Organization's website.

The website's removal was first noticed Wednesday by The Huffington Post.

In a tweet Wednesday, she said that the "website in question created in 2012 and has been removed because it does not accurately reflect my current business and professional interests."

Well, we had the Obama's in the WH, and they were a nice looking young couple with cute kids.  Are you suggesting that they were perhaps the wrong color?

I am not voting for a first lady or gentleman, and I am not voting in a beauty contest.

I never heard Michele Obama say anything interesting.

Mrs De Santis is attractive, Republican, intelligent and has a great back story. No wonder the left are terrified of her.

I have never heard of anyone on the left being terrified of her.  Is this the start of a new narrative?

Desantis' facility at feeling resentment over trivia is matched only by his chief opponent in the race for the nomination.

New narrative? I’d call it a new dawn. Out with the geriatric liar, replaced with someone half his age.
