That's why I don't read threads that don't interest me. Then I don't have to complain about something I don't care about ????????????????

I hardly ever see you post anything of content here. why then are you coming in with your two cents with a negative attitude. contribute something interesting then you can criticize constructively rather than being a bystander with nothing to say.

Let them have their fun, Thailand became Disney land for pot religion officially even it have been like this as long there have been tourism in this country for those who knew.

Back in Tonsai Krabi (or any other Island) you got a beer and a joint back in the days, and everyone was warned when the police was on their way. The only difference now, you see overload of strains and tools openly in the streets everywhere around Thailand.

Off coarse it is it’s just been sort of legalised you got all the marketing and hype from people trying to boost there business ,you got all the boasters about it’s only them that can grow quality weed been into it 30 years no one knows else knows anything about it mines stronger than yours etc etc.

you got all the other guys from other parts of the forum that are bored and just start rubbish pointless topics as they have nothing better to do.

the guys that never touched it when illegal but now for some reason try it and all of a sudden they experts smoking there 1 spliff a day the list is endless ……it will calm down eventually.

There are a lot of "news" articles on Cannabis, mostly in the Thailand News section. These are 85% negative, 15% neutral. Can't remember a single article that was positive.

Cannabis stories generate interest, and probably get more clicks than other stories. And negative stories really drive the passions on both sides.

And you should see the propaganda on the Singaporean site Channel News Asia, where they talk about all the dead bodies showing up in Thailand with THC in their systems.

Since its liberalisation, Smith, a member of Thailand’s Medical Council, has seen more dead bodies testing positive for traces of THC. The hospital where he works, Ramathibodi Hospital, has also seen more cases of cannabis intoxication.

Just wait until next week. As we approach the one year anniversary of de-listing on 9 June there will will be a gazillion "stories".

Over-hyped? Legal weed is the best change in Thailand I've seen in the past 30 years.

It makes Thailand look progressive, which can't be a bad thing, given the state of the rest of the world!

Don't read it.

Sorted.

Ba-bye.

NOT “over-hyped” other fora won’t even allow it to be discussed.  The legalization of cannabis is a major topic for Thailand because of the revenue-enhancement potential.

Weed is not a hard drug and it's addictive properties are mild.

No! ????

I know it is 'legal' in Thailand now, but as it is a dangerous drug, I personally think it shouldn't be promoted. But just my opinion.

It does. I think the druggies on here who support it are so addled, they can't see the harm it is doing to them.

after 40 years of enjoying Cannabis I still can't feel any harm it did to me, except, maybe, I became allergic to fanatism.

Agreed, maybe after 35 years of having a puff I'll try something harder next.

One thing leads to another we are told.
