dying from cancer at home in Thailand
This is not a hospice. It is a center for diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. There are some (few) hospices in the Western sense here, as I previously described. But not many. There are also foundations/temples that provide very basic, unskilled custodial care to homeless people with terminal illnesses. But I would nto really call that "hospice" in the palliative sense. -

Crime Brutal Bloodshed in Pattaya: Briton Stabbed, Suspects Vanish
Which is kinda weird given that Hua Hin is full of sprightly 70-80 year olds amped up on black coffee and cupcakes! -

Non O Extension Renewal | Timing and Travel Question
Hi all, I am currently on a non O extension based on marriage. It expires on July 2. I have two trips I need to do. One from 23-28 June. One from 7-10 July. Non negotiable as they are not holidays that I can move. When is the best time for me to apply? Should I do it soon and try and get it all complete before the first trip? Or should I do it in between the trips - which can only be 30th June or 1st July and that doesn't give much leeway if there is any issue with paperwork? My main worry of doing it early is that I'll get an "under consideration" stamp, right? (Not sure if that is every renewal or only the first - this is my second). And if the stamp date to come back falls when I am away I imagine that would be an issue. If I apply in between my trips and get my "under consideration" can I still travel on the second trip? (Not sure if you can leave the country when under consideration). Hope that explains everything, and thanks for any experience or advice that anyone can share. Just trying to plan this and really not sure what's best. In visual form: -
