Crime Pattaya Security Guard Assaulted by Youths — Attack Caught on Camera
Picture courtesy of SiamChon. A disturbing video clip circulating on Thai social media has drawn widespread attention after it captured the violent assault of a man by two helmeted youths on a public road just outside Pattaya. The footage, taken from a vehicle’s dashcam at 6:23 on 28 June, shows two male assailants chasing and attacking their target with punches and a garden hoe. The incident occurred in full view of bystanders and was only halted when local residents intervened. The caption accompanying the viral post read mockingly, “Teen fight, lol,” sparking concern over the normalisation of street violence. Later, in the early hours of 1 July, local reporters located the victim, a 31-year-old security guard known only as Mr. Golf. Employed at a local Pattaya entertainment venue, he was recovering from his injuries, including a dislocated shoulder and extensive bruising. He recounted the unprovoked attack to the media. The incident took place near the entrance of Soi Mab Yai Lia 18/4, close to Pattaya Rungrueng Village on Soi Nernplubwan, in Nong Prue subdistrict, Bang Lamung district. Mr. Golf explained that he had just visited his father, who sells eggs in the area. As he was preparing to leave on his motorbike, a young man rode past, then stopped and confronted him with aggressive language, saying, “What’s your problem with me?” Mr. Golf responded calmly, but the youth retorted, “Wait here, I’ll be back,” and rode off. Within minutes, the young man returned with an accomplice. Both were wearing helmets; one was carrying a hoe. They dismounted and immediately launched a violent attack, punching Mr. Golf repeatedly and striking him with the weapon. The altercation was caught on video as Mr. Golf attempted to defend himself before his father and other relatives intervened, dispersing the attackers. Mr. Golf told reporters he still does not understand what provoked the assault. He speculated whether it could have been due to something as minor as making eye contact or blocking the road with his parked motorbike. Initially reluctant to press charges, Mr. Golf said a local elder had contacted him in an attempt to mediate. He was also dissuaded by comments from one of the attackers’ parents, who claimed their son was “a good boy who had never caused trouble” and challenged Mr. Golf to provide evidence if he wished to file a complaint. Determined to prove his innocence, Mr. Golf returned to the scene to search for CCTV footage. Ultimately, the dashcam video that was posted online confirmed he had not initiated the confrontation. His family, deeply disturbed by the level of violence, is now urging him to pursue legal action. Mr. Golf said he plans to consult with his family and then submit the video evidence to Nong Prue Police Station to formally file charges against the attackers. Police have not yet commented on the case, but the video is expected to play a key role in the investigation. Adapted by Asean Now from SiamChon 2025-07-01 -

Medical supplies shop (Not Fascino) (Pattaya area)
A couple of options that come to mind, dependent on your finances, are to find whatever you want from whoever has it in stock and then arrange to have it delivered by courier. No reason why you couldn't receive it tomorrow at the latest. The other option, is to try OfficeMate. Yes, really 😊
