For me, I have nearly had an accident trying to NOT hear Phil Collins when the song came on the radio. I can't listen to this totally untalented guy. The newer Genesis, goes without saying why.

Also, anything by CCR or Michael Learns to Rock or Scorpions -  too may forced feeding when hanging out in Bangkok bars in the 90s.

Also, Everybody wants to rule the world by Tear for Fears or something, nightmare video.

XTC, especially one about Nigel

Michael Buble

Def Leppard

Rush

K-Pop

Reggeton

Job2Do

In general I don't. Most of my music is from Amazon Music and I just leave it set to one of several channels which just play new music. I get bored with listening to old music unless it's a remix (not a remaster). I find that newer music recordings have a lot more clarity and presence than old music as well, especially at hi-res..

So come on, who DO you like?

But no under-rated bands please as there is another thread going on that.

Mark E Smith was great and never like many others.

Morrisey is great too, and slagged of others too.

Living on a Prayer - I'd rather eat glass shards than listen to this <deleted>e.

Smooth - The fact that radio stations overplayed this song so much is a hate crime.

Shake it Off - Um, Turn it Off.

Season's in the Sun - Terry Jacks is the main reason 1974 sucked.

Anything by Captain and Tennille and/or Neil Sedaka

I have mixed emotion when I hear this one -  Every Saturday night when my folks had friends round.

I liked Season in the Sun, had the TOTP 1974 Album.

I also have a pathological dislike for Fairground Attractions' "Perfect"

otherwise I am pretty chill

have to disagree with OP about XTC.  Love all of their stuff

In general, yes. But you just made me go play Ma Baker really loud.

ANYthing from Simply Ginger, especially the Stars album. The only reason I haven't had killed 'taken care of' is because then the radio stations would play his 'hits' for a week or more afterwards!

Ted Nugent - great musician but real a**hole in person

Beatles - overrated girls band

Scorpions - Twisted Sisters from Octoberfest

Bee Gees - man can't sing like that unless his cohones are missing (not true, just really freaky)

Mahavishnu Band - too wierd to listen

Van Der Graff Generator - pretended to love them because everybody around were crazy about this band

%rap% - too angry, pitbull/AST kind anger
