There's obvious physical difference but anything which people consider an aspect of social difference (I use the term is the broadest sense) is a psychological concept. Some might even say a pathological concept.

Without so many different ethnicities and all their wonderfully diverse cultures humanity would be incredibly BORING.

In the cases here Jewish ethnicities are ancient and of the ethnoreligious category. In other words non observant Jews are still Jews. Palestinian Arab as opposed to just Arab identity was rather recently asserted for political reasons in the context of the conflict with Israel. Palestinian Arab identity deserves to be respected as legitimate though regardless.

Rather boring than violent.

To put it bluntly, any person who negatively factors race into their daily social interactions with people is pathologically insane.

No, I'm not I'm referring to ethnicity alone. But don't try to imagine that prejudice against ethnicity is not racist.

You remind me of people that say they don't see color.

Freakin' unbelievable.

Hypocrisy from the Israelis who are doing to the Palestinians what the Germans did to the Jews before and during WW2.

Double hypocrisy  from most of the world leaders who turn their blind eyes and pretend that it is not happening, while at the same time condemning the Palestinians for fighting back with the only weapons they have.

Meanwhile the Israeli military use tanks, heavily armed troop, ground attack aircraft and helicopter gunships.

Seems we agree on something.

If you went back in time 1,000 years, you would describe virtually everyone living in Palestine as an "Arab from Palestine ".

On your own admission you know nothing about this subject. You are not Israeli and you don't know anything about the single most contentious issue, the settlements. Stop trolling

As I have noticed that you also have no idea about the situation and you didn't even know about the existence of the Palestinian  Charter and all your posts contain either the "Nazi" , "Troll " "Genocide" "Dead Children" words

I thought that I would give the discussion with you a miss and not bother

Applying your logic you must support Russia taking Ukrainian land and China taking Taiwan.

The comparison between Australian aboriginal dispossession and Palestinian dispossession is false in that one is historical and concluded and one is current and ongoing.

The  Palestinian issue is near to conclusion as well .

The Palestinian issue was the big issue 40 years ago and they have massive support from various groups . There was huge pressure on Israel to come to a compromise  .

The whole Arab and Muslim World supported the Palestinians as did many other Countries and USA and South Africa were Israel's only allies .

Now the PLO and other terror groups no longer exist and there is no longer support from rebel groups .

Now the dividing grounds in the Middle East is the Saadia Arabia /Iran power struggle and proxy wars .

Its Iran and Syria and various terror groups V Saudi Arabia USA and Israel .

Yes, Israel and Saadia Arabia are quietly friends in their opposition to Iran and will soon be on Diplomatic terms .

Palestinians  have sided with Iran and they have little support from anyone these day and Israel is signing peace deals with its former enemies .

The Palestinian cause is over , they have nothing left to bargain with

USA has very frosty relations with Israel right now and if the Dems win the next election Saudi Arabia is going to be on the outer big time.

Ironically it's the US the top official "humanitarian" donor that gives indirectly hundreds of millions to Palestine throught the UN funded UNWR. Germany and the UK come next...just for your kind information.

Feel free to fast check the fact with due diligence,  on the net.

Indirectly the money gets back in the hands of the Palestinian authorities through different underground channels,  as it happens in many other cases. But that's another story.

As for the Saudi,s there are many reports that they plan to resume funding shortly following the normalisation of relations with Israel.

A bit hard to follow politics and mainly politicians who are often a bunch of cheats, liars or corrupt clowns - no matter on which side of the world map.

Just as well you ain't in charge on here then.

Anyway, just because you think you know it all, it doesn't mean you do, or perhaps you do, but are biased, so don't want opposing views heard on here.

IMO the way the Palestinians are treated is appalling by any standards of decency. If it were any nation treating them so except Israel they would have been penalised years ago, but the US support negates any opposition based on it's IMO one eyed support for Israel.

1000 years ago it wasn't Palestine.

There never was a nation called Palestine in history.

Perhaps not, but the Romans named the region Palestine, so the people that lived there were Palestinians.

https://www.hudson.org/node/44363

The ancient Romans pinned the name on the Land of Israel. In 135 CE, after stamping out the province of Judea’s second insurrection, the Romans renamed the province Syria Palaestina—that is, “Palestinian Syria.”

Far as I know they did so because of Palestinian support for Saddam.

I'm not sure why it stopped. There's conflicting information. One account has it stopping due to Palestinian support for Iraq's invasion of Kuwait. Another says it dropped to 0 after allegations of Palestinian corruption in 2021. It was probably a gradual process. TThe Saudis have since reinstated aid to the Palestinians in order to help normalize the society and remove the most extremist elements from the PLO.
