What promises to be the largest wine event of its kind held outside of Bangkok will take place in Hua Hin this November

 

Wine enthusiasts in Thailand should mark their calendars for the return of the much-anticipated Hua Hin Wine Expo, which is set to be bigger and better than ever.

 

The exciting event is slated to take place at the Intercontinental Hua Hin Resort’s Tamarind Ballroom on Friday, 3rd November 2023. Known as the Royal Coast’s premier wine event, this expo is emerging at a pivotal moment when Hua Hin is at the forefront of Thailand’s burgeoning wine scene.

 

Visitors will have the opportunity to taste an array of wines while immersed in the scenic charm of Hua Hin.

 

The expo promises a fantastic blend of global and local wines to try and buy, complimented by an array of international cuisines, providing an inviting experience to its guests.

Well, try and then buy a case of chang from the local 711 anyway - which would probably be the same price as one bottle of wine

I can hardly contain my excitement........

Will they expound the benefits and full flavour of the wines that have been adulterated with "Orchard Fruit" so as to reduce the alcohol content and still keep the price out of the average wine drinkers budget. Maybe the beer Duopoly will charge high fees to enter the wine expo to keep people out and further protect the beer market. Just got back from Loa where a good  quality wine is very affordable.Cant say the same about Thailand.

I gave up on wine in Thailand almost immediately. subpar and luxury taxed to oblivion, makes as much sense as paying 2 or 3 times the worth of a 'luxury' car to drive on 3rd world roads

 I am constantly "Dazzled" by the price of wine here in Thailand.

I've never been that keen on wine, they all tasted like vinegar to me.

Obviously that can be changed by adding a spoon or two of sugar.

But I'm OK just drinking wine coolers at 26bht/bottle.

Every news article on here, whether it be an event, a crackdown, an election, is always, always in the future tense if significant. Though they still brag about the “smart car”, a BMW with an ipad and a SIM card. Maybe I am going off topic, bit seriously TH, you are a century behind developed nations. Please stop bragging. Thai wine. Lmao.
