K bank E-mail with Tax Forms attached ?
I got three forms via email from Kasikorn and they ask for reply via email. I can't fill and sign via email. I am European and it looks like I maybe can fill out only the FATCA form. I guess I will best print it out, fill out and return it at a K office? -

Pathum-Thani, first time using $$ in bank for marriage extension, questions.
A quick update. No real surprises, the bank actually knew what was needed 🙂 Interestingly, this year there was no home visit (Pathum were known for visiting every year for marriage extensions) but they still needed a new TM30 address report (I'd left the country earlier in the year, maybe that triggered it). There's also a handy-dandy way to check your application status using Line. Works OK, although it just says "Pending" until the actual approval comes through. -

Help needed with one question about UK frozen state pension.
Not even one reading in HOC yet, then HOL, then back to HOC. So at least another 2 years before this MIGHT come into effect. I suspect Starmer will be gone well before then, so pure speculation on your part. -

Sleep aid for a long flight
Different Airline Sites manage this option in a different way. Emirates do this are part of the regular booking - you can select the flight at each stage. If the flight 'window' you want falls outside of the flights offered on the Website you can chose 'mulit-city' - which then gives you an option to fly with a greater lay over. If have found that with Emirates - on our regular booking you can chose a stopover of up to about 35 hours. Note: Any layover longer than 24 hours requires you to collect your baggage (at the point of layover). Turkish Operate in a Similar Manner - but do this a little better, they offer layovers under a 'visit Istanbul' scheme and include a free hotel... But the free hotel is only included on one of the legs and for one night. The last trip we took a layover (<24 hrs) and had an included hotel... arrived in IST - went to the hotel, had a walk around, had a nice meal, slept and then back to the Airport (transport as included but a bit of a faff) On the return we took a stop over (>24 hrs) - 3 days and made more of a trip of it. One of the reasons this was a good idea (with Turkisk) was their flights being a lot cheaper when using a 'Layover / Stopover' option. -

@Keith5588 I know which YTer your talking about. IMO if your going to go the Philippines for 6 months to reset your state pension you need more than what somebody at DWP told you on the phone. Mike Lister said he had to get his MP involved to put pressure on the DWP to acknowledge he was habitually resident in the UK and it would be easier in the UK as you have an MP and need to be habitually resident to also get back your no charge at point of use access to the NHS.
