A Tesla that needs PETROL ?

Has to be a set-up.

Only a complete idiot could run out of juice in a Tesla and his DIY "range-extender".

The car will have been warning him and telling him how to get to a charger for ages.

But apparently it happens often enough for the AAA to have mobile chargers on call.

And none of the "stupid Americans" quips, the AA in the UK also offer EV rescue service.

All part of the owner EV transition..........????

"Oh, sh_t, I forgot about gas stations in this"............????

You'd have to be an idiot, to run out of petrol or battery today.

MG ZS EV gives an audio warning @ 30% & 20%, along with ding & idiot warning light.  Don't know about 10%, as have only gone down to 12%.

You should still have at least 65 kms to go @ 20%

All well and good comments.....

There is a series of videos out of EV's running out of battery charge 40-80% before the initially indicated available range displayed on start up....

There are also people who run out of gas.

Indeed there are.

And the person in the OP managed to run out of power AND run out of gas :whistling:

Can you share the videos?

I’ve done a search and can’t find any videos of an EV only having 20% of initial indicated available range

Can you point me in the direction of these supposed videos?

I might be able to find them myself if your post made more sense.

"running out of battery charge 40-80% before the initially indicated available range displayed on start up". What does that mean?

@pgrahmm  - you have been asked twice to post these videos showing EVs only having 20% of initial indicated available range.

You are clearly happy to make stuff up and think people will believe you - very sad
