That is tosh. You can only use the government hospital to which you are registered at. If that particular hospital doesn't provide the treatment etc to help your problem the doctor will provide a referral letter to the government hospital which will. Get it right. Been there done that. Father of 3 Thai/farang children.

    You could ask a Thai person , they would know . Its more than likely that the Childs parents will know, as they are Thai

No, you must get a doctors referral letter from your registered hospital to use any other.

Actually it is place of residence, not place of birth, that determines it and is listed in the house registration.
