If the past Governor doesn’t vote in your favour, just try the same requests with the new Governor.

 

A group of beach vendors, calling for a designated area at Surin Beach, has submitted a letter to Phuket’s new governor, Sophon Suwannarat. The Phuket Express reports that 40 vendors from Surin Beach submitted their petition at Phuket Provincial Hall yesterday, October 5.

 

Sophon met with the group to take delivery of the letter, which outlines how local beach vendors have been plying their wares at Surin Beach for over 20 years. Occasionally, Chergntalay officials would collect fees from the vendors (we bet they do).

Can we ruin another beach please.

No sanctuary for beach lovers.

If this is in reference to the food stall and sit down eating shaded areas some return to pre-covid setup might be nice?

But plz no beach hawkers approaching when on the beach like in Bali !!! OMG!!????????

 

I used to (when I first emigrated, n lived for a time at Surin Beach) I enjoyed visiting one stall run by a lovely tiny skinny lass (next to the bike park section and a few stalls along from the first stall) ... beautiful coconut smoothies and delicious food after a hard session at Maximum.

 

The envelope is a good size, the correct colour but too thin.....
