Gknrd
I think to keep in good standings with Putin they need to increase the visa on arrival to 90 days with mother Russia. Just my opinion.

But the both China and Russia use a Presidential system wherein the Head of State is also Head of Government. Same as in the USA. So Thavisin would be meeting his political equals on the one hand.

In all seriousness does he not realize the implication of this meeting with Putin. This could be seen as collusion with a wanted war Criminal and could lead to Sanctions being placed on Thailand? Why on earth should they? It's about business not ideologies or political camps. Thailand is too small to have any affect on the world stage and choosing a side can spell disaster in the future, political friendships are transitory at best, yesterdays friends are tomorrows enemies. Business is hard nosed without emotions, a much safer option for little bears who only want a little honey. It has worked well for Thailand in the past; Thailand isn't a homogeneous nation and although they have been nestled between warring nations with political upheavals happening around them they have managed to keep the peace between their own borders. 1 1
Popular Post Thailand
I suppose he could be asking for compensation from Putin & Xi for the Thai's killed and injured in Israel as it is highly likely they would have had a hand in it along with Iran etc? 4
paul1804
Typical Thailand, the recently unelected PM sucking up to these rogue nation leaders! Xi with double standards for supporting the murderess Putin and the Myanmar Junta, declares his opposition to Israel's war on Hamas but not Putin in the Ukraine!!!! Myanmars Junta's recent pease accord anniversary with the following foriegn attendees and after just bombing village after village killing many woman & children. "Chinese Special Envoy for Asian Affairs Deng Xijun, along with the deputy Indian national security advisor and the Thai foreign minister, addressed the event, displaying their support for the regime" Its hard to believe the integrity of humanity. 1

Thailand doesnt need to take sides but a voice of responsibility outlawing invasions of other countries and the actions of murderess regimes would be a responsible approach. Even if they repeatably voiced that dialogue and not war was a their more favourable approach instead of supporting rogue leaders. 1
