It's to discourage tailgaters

It's all showing off. See the trucks with 30,40,50 mirrors and/or lights on the front. How silly, but it gives the driver confidence to see behind and at night.

It's Serpico(1973 movie), an undercover policeman fighting corruption within the New York Police Force.

I think it may be a copy of the cowboy from Red Dead Redemption.

How do you see a face on a mud flap, and remember that it is a cop from a 50 year old movie. Photo memory?

Saying that, I would recognise most 60s musician's faces.

The scerpico and stallone cobra are a lucky charm to avoid police shakedowns and extortion for tea money..

I used to wonder why these lorries had pictures of Barry Gibb on them.

The majority of those mirrors are an absolute waste of time as the are fitted too close to each other. Totally ineffective! And the extra lights are rarely wired up to work! Just looks good???
