Anutin Spearheads National Anti-Mafia Crackdown

In all honesty and reality, the Minister of the Interior remains the most powerful civilian position, much more powerful than the current PM.

Anutin basically controls the entire civilian management of the country, save Bangkok (and the RTP).

As Interior Minister doesn't the RTP report to him or is that direct to the PM?

The Police have been directly under the PM for several decades already.

Anutin expressed gratitude towards all provincial governors for implementing special operations in line with the policy of social order and suppression of influential figures. Under the stewardship of Anutin Charnvirakul, the Interior Ministry has finalized strategic deliberations with the chief of national security, charting a path for collective action.

More hot air than the month of May

Not a happy looking chap

Asking governors to be good boys isn't going to get him any browny points.

I do like his dressing up wardrobe.

When he was the health minister, he had a number of different, white 'doctor's' outfits.

Now that he is a minister in a civilian government, he wears military uniforms.

He either likes dressing up or the uniforms help him to feel important.

Didnt you ever play dress-ups?

Putting the fox in charge of the hen house.

Makes sense. Only a fox knows where the other foxes are, and how to catch them.

The problem is to control the police fox.
