My suggestion would be to split the forum between the "sandbox" and the serious topics, which would have to be ruthlessly moderated, and not only on form.  POTY would then have it's place in the sandbox.

Some people here, you mentioned one above, seems to think they get a price if they just post something all day long. Is that the purpose of this?

I wouldn't know who to suggest as potty.

I would know some candidates for idiot of the month. But then, if they are a constant annoyance, then I block them.

 

I think it should be given posthumously to Ubon Joe and then ditched forever.

If there is an annoying vote/poll we should have a no one option, where we who don't care about POTY can vote against the poll and stop a bell end winning

"IF" it proceeds it will need to be run in "The Lounge" that will stop the numerous new faces appearing and inflating the votes as has happened in previous years as there is a minimum post count required to enter the Lounge.
