Unhinged And Unclothed Russian Man Arrested for Violent Rampage in North Pattaya

Pattaya, Thailand – 23 yearold Russian man was arrested last night for acting erratically while in his birthday suit, roaming public streets in North Pattaya and attacking random Thais unprovoked.

The suspect, identified by police as a 23-year-old Russian man whose full name was withheld pending mental evaluation and treatment, was arrested on Soi Naklua 16 around 8:00 P.M. yesterday, November 7th, 2023.

The suspect was arrested by a large force of Banglamung police led by Pol. Col. Navin Sinthurat, Superintendent of Bang Lamung Police Station.

The suspect was described as extremely uncooperative and appeared unable or unwilling to speak much Thai or English.

He continued to threaten police, reporters, rescue workers, passerby, and doctors while being brought to a local hospital for sedation and a complete check for possible drug use or intoxication.

The suspect had been walking naked around Naklua in a state of outrage, screaming and yelling at passerby and being followed and videoed by multiple concerned citizens calling police when he randomly approached a couple sitting at a red light near Soi Naklua 16 and attacked them for no apparent reason, punching the driver, whose name was withheld at his request, in the face. A video clip of this incident is below.

Do the Thai police carry tasers? This seems like the perfect time to use one.

Probably seemed like a good idea at the time.

(Don't let Anootin hear about this.)🙃🙃

He probably just arrived in Thailand and may be suffering from jetlag, even if it's only a 4 hour time difference. Airline probably lost his luggage, too, and he was culturally aware enough to know how sensitive Thai noses can be to dirty farangs, hence the removal of his travel outfit. Very thoughtful, tovarich. As for striking that couple, he probably mistook them for Ukrainian Nazis or maybe Alexei Navalny. Honest mistake.

Maybe he'll get his act together in the next 89 days before his right to stay expires.

And he'll have to purchase new garments, so that's a boost to the Thai economy.

Maybe he was upset his drunk russian friend just fell off a building ?

I didn't know Banglamung had a large force - I never see them especially: on the roads; at rush hour; weekends; after dark; Public Holidays.

Looks like his hair got in his eyes and his face slid off enough to make anyone go crazy 🤔

Likely extremely drunk. Makes some people belligerant and violent.

Charges probably won't amount to much. Unless the victims of assault press charges. The Thais don't like it when one of their own is attacked by a foreigner. If so, that alone might get him kicked out.

Drunk? Taking off his clothes, yelling screaming, beating people?

I hardly think so!

yabba no doubt!

as a Ukrainian Canadian, you don’t want to know what I would do to him!

Another 'quality' tourist visiting Thailand - and this goes on and on nearly every day.

Another gun shooting and death.  Another boat accident and death. Another series of violent assults.

And on and on and on it goes - and the Baht still way too high

And they wonder why the Chinese are reluctant to come here.

They just about have enough brain cells to somehow get to Pattaya or Phuket then lights out between the ears and off they go.

Talk about family resort

Earlier in Soi Buakhao

Dear would be expats and visitors to Thailand... if you have mental issues...stay home....we have enough here already.

... more sex and sunshine really won't help you in the long run.

These Russians seem to believe that the laws do not apply to them getting drunk and doing what ever they want,, its time to deport the lot of them,, and suspend this 90 day rubbish visa for them too

No need for them to be deserters.

Do your National Service in Ukraine, see your mates get shredded, collect your PTSD.

Off for extended R@R in Pattaya.

The advance guard have been arriving since earlier this year, expect to see a lot more with the intro of the 90 days.

Probably just hot with Moscow being -1 now.
