All I see are attempts to control the way people think. If you want a true forum, let opinions flow freely. Moderators create toxicity and negativity where it does not exist. A moderated forum is not really a forum but merely a tool for control of the narrative. I couldn't have said it better myself. The people running this website clearly have a political agenda, and anything that goes against that agenda is suppressed. That is not a formula for success. 1

I have only blocked one poster in over 12 years but he posts so much that I constantly still see his posts when others quote him. He posts non stop every day so why can't I (we) just never see even the " quoted " posts? 1

I would say that you should just let it go and not seek to get anyone banned - put them on ignore and you wont see their rubbish - you can do that here - not on that place listed above. So it's asking a bit much is it to suggest that 'the largest English publications in Thailand' be free of the rampant unchecked anti Thai racism that currently pervades it? Popular Post champers
Never forget: It is an anonymous internet forum and is not very consequential in the general scheme of things. I want to be informed and entertained by the forum. I won't report anyone or put someone on ignore. We all have the right to disagree, hopefully respectfully but if not use irony, sarcasm and humour rather than personal abuse. I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Personal crrcumstances for some mean that posting is an important part of their daily routine. I respect that aspect even if I feel some of their posting seems OTT to the point of being obsessive. I regularly give likes to posts I disagree with because; as Pete Doherty sings; "it's all in the delivery". Keep up the good work, George.
