Too much equality and too much entitlement?

They have killed chivalry and most feminists always seem angry.

Luckily not so much here in Thailand yet but in the West it is scary.

Like you said, in Thailand this is not really a problem - at least I don't think it is.

I ignore those crazy feminists. They cam do whatever they want to do together with other feminists or LGTBQ+/- or whatever. 

Feminism didn't make them happier, wealthier ( nurses still don't get paid what they are worth ), or wiser.

It did make them unhappy, angry and frustrated.

 

They don't even want equality, as they still want to be woo'd, showered with trinkets and baubles, had doors held open etc.

However, I suspect they want more than equality.

 

 

Equality is fine, and all deserver that, although when reality hits, they really don't want to be treated as equals in many aspects.

Failed. Look at the state of the West! One of the many reasons I cannot live there. Apologies to Sheryl (the best mod TV ever had), but females of any species need to be controlled. It is in their nature and they go all awry and silly when gifted free reign and/or living with a soy boy etc.

You and many others misunderstand the issue.

No one including women want equal numbers represented for every job, they want equal opportunity.

If they can do the job, they want the same opportunity as men to try, and then be compensated the same. 

How would you like it if you did the same job as Bob, but made a lot less money doing it? I am sure you would not. Then why should  they?

Obviously there are differences between man and women, and as such there would be limitations and opportunities for both. 

But what they  object to, are socio-structural limitations to equal opportunity, and compensation.

The so called pay gap mostly exists when the comparison is not correct. I.e. more men are willing to work longer hours under worse conditions - in the "same" job.

 

It is crazy that in some countries companies have to employ less qualified women (or minorities) to be able to fulfil some quotas. Sometimes better qualified men are rejected so that some women quota is fulfilled. Crazy! 

Problem: Trad-women = dead in bed.

 

For the interesting, nutty sex, you have to go modern.

Yes, present-day feminism has definitely become a caricature.

And real women that are grateful for and proud f their femininity don't want have anything to do with that woke nonsense.

If I'm allowed 6 months paid leave whenever I feel like it, and a seat on the 1st lifeboat when my ship is sinking, then I'm happy for them to get equal pay.

Well RP, I don't like it.

 

I'm not saying we should go back to the old days when a guy would see a nice bit of stuff, whack her over the , drag her off to a cave. Some might regard that as a backward step.

 

What I want to see is feminism held up for what it is; beautiful. I want curves, smells and hair. When I see females boxing; I'm physically sick. When I hear that a lady has broken into a male dominated arena; I'm ready to hit the bottle.

 

At the same time, I don't want to see men take over in feminist activities, like knotting or cake-making.

Mine is McMurphy in China Beach. Tough, strong but always feminine. I think most western women have no idea what feminine means

Feminism has nothing to do with feminine. It's the wrong word IMO, like calling homosexuals "gay" which in it's right use has nothing to do with homosexuality.

It used to drive me mad that female nurses complained that they were underpaid ( we were ) but were not prepared to do the hard yards ( striking ) to get better money. In the NHS all lower categories ( not managers ) got a pay rise while I was there, not because they deserved it, but because not enough people were willing to work for a pittance, compared, for example, to tube drivers, who got more money, longer holidays and free travel anywhere in London.

 

BTW, men and women nurses get exactly the same pay depending on level.

IMO in the NHS more managers were male as a proportion of the staff, but in NZ they were not, because hardly any males became nurses. when I left my previous occupation I didn't tell any guys ( I only worked with men ) that I was going to be a nurse as I knew I'd be mercilessly mocked.

The hardest thing I experienced was the bullying by female managers.

You completely ruined my day, as I'll never be able to erase that from my memory.

I did like one of the movies, I think the second, when they went to Arabia, on holiday and the really awful one got arrested for having sex on the beach, and they all got evicted from their accommodation. Seeing them suffer in a foreign land was so enjoyable.
