How long you stay in Thailand? You like Thai food? What your job?

Featured Replies

is there a script that Thai women read from when conversing with them, either online or in the bar?

They seem to ask the same questions over and over again.

I must have been asked these 3 questions thousands of times over the years by countless Thai women.

all very robotic and scripted.

anyone else come across this line of questioning before, either online or offline?

bob.

@Bob, obviously they could also ask: why you drink too much and behave like an idiot? But mostly they are polite and don't do that.

No. Most idiots don't know that they are idiots. Smart people know who are idiots. But they also know that it doesn't make any sense to try to explain that to those idiots. Thanks for confir

If you listed the 3 questions maybe some answers would be forthcoming.

In a bar.

They ask these questions to see if they can overcharge you more if you are a tourist.

Online.

They ask these questions to see if you are a sex tourist just looking for fun.

Apologise...Sorry I didn't read the title correctly..

Why would it be important for Thai girls to talk English in Thailand?

To be able to pick up drunk guys who are too lazy to learn Thai?

Same here...

1. 'How long you stay Thailand?'

2. 'What your job?'

3. 'Why you like/look for Thai women?'

(Told one chick, I'm not particularly looking for a Thai woman, but, living here, the odds to meet one are higher than, say, meeting an Icelandic one...)

because English is the lingua franca of the world, that's why!

Both, English language skills, and curiosity about foreign visitors, IMHO, declined significantly from the turn of the century up to 2020, and again a lot since then.

Light is faster than sound, thats why stupid people appear smart when you see them at a distance but once you hear them speak you'll know the truth
