Still Running, how to stop an App

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me how to close down an app that is still running? I can't even uninstall it for the same reason.

what's the operating system u r using

assuming cell phone...........from main screen menu

*settings

*apps & notifications

*app info  (xx apps installed)

<select application>

<choose 'disable' or 'force'>

Open TASK MANAGER. There you will see a list of everything that is running. Select the item you want and close it

I did what you said. it will not uninstall as it said it was still running. What I want to do is stop it running so I can reinstall it again.

Have you used Task Manager as suggested? Ctrl+Alt+Delete key

Shift + Esc opens Task manager in Opera.

Right click the app and then click "End Task" in the pop up.
