Popular Post webfact
THE CORRECTIONS DEPARTMENT has been advised to never manage a house arrest for de facto Pheu Thai boss/convict at large Thaksin Shinawatra so that he could otherwise literally stay at home in lieu of a prison. Former Democrat MP Thepthai Senapong today (Dec.2) posted on his Facebook page to express his dissent over unconfirmed hearsay that the Corrections Department might probably manage a house arrest for the deposed prime minister who has been admitted at Police Hospital for unspecified “illnesses” for over 100 days now so that he may literally return home to stay in a foreseeable future. Nevertheless, the “sickly” de facto Pheu Thai boss/convict at large is more or less speculated to be released on parole around February after his eight-year jail sentence has been already curtailed by royal pardon to only one year. Thepthai said Thaksin might probably be released on parole after he has served either a minimum of one-third or a minimum of two-thirds of his one-year jail, provided on leniency basis. Popular Post expat_4_life
The die was cast long before Thaksin returned, a deal was done, despite the protestations. Thepthai who has a dubious history himself, "The former lawmaker who has already spent 16 months behind bars due to an electoral rigging lawsuit...", appears to be wading back into troubled waters. My crystal ball says Yingluck will return next ... Edited December 3, 2023 by expat_4_life 5 1 2

Ironmike
Here's great idea let's bring back former PM Chi U Chana chat and let's all see how fast Taksin so so better and off to his private jet back to Dubai that will make everyone's head spin, just in case he might have to actually spend some time in prison before he gets everything he wants shall we?????? Popular Post OneMoreFarang
And then some people are still surprised why politicians and other high ranking officials do whatever they want. Lock them up and keep them in jail! Do that often enough and maybe something will change to the better. 1 1 1

As explained to me by some Thais when he was in power 'Yes, he may be corrupt. ALL, in every government are corrupt, but Thaksin is the first person to help the poor. For the first time, people in the villages are receiving some benefits from a politician'. It is the rich and the military that are after Thaksin's blood. 3 1

The challenge is that like the U.S. and UK people have a lot bigger problems to worry about than what Thaksin does. All this will only matter when the next election is called and people remind those loyal to the military how they bent and kised Thaksin's rear ring in order to stay somewhat in control. How the PTP seems to be led by someone who murdered many criminals and was harch but gives himself a VVIP treatment. How a man who supposedly was a RED SHIRT leader and father figure got special treatment from the military and person we can not discuss.
