Pattaya —A foreign motorcyclist, believed to be a Kuwaiti tourist, was allegedly punched by a Thai motorcyclist in Pattaya late Tuesday night following a minor motorbike collision.

The incident unfolded outside a Middle Eastern restaurant on Soi Yensabai in South Pattaya on December 26th. According to Mrs. Chorfa Iamla-or, a restaurant owner, the victim, a male tourist from Kuwait in his early twenties, was leaving the restaurant on his chopper bike when his vehicle’s engine suddenly ceased to operate in the middle of the road.

Mrs. Chorfa, who witnessed the entire incident, said that the victim was trying to restart his motorbike when a white Honda Click motorcycle driven by a Thai man suddenly rammed into the victim’s bike.

The Thai motorcyclist aged between 35-40 years old then allegedly punched the tourist in the face.

Only one Thai? :shock1: Where were the usual other 10 accomplices??? No kicks???

And just to think that all these words that we hear ad nauseam, the Ka and Kap, are meant as deep and profound signs of respect.

What if these words would simply disappear, well, could not get worse....

Am curious why the write uses the word allegedly when a Thai man is wrong and not when the blame is on a foreigner. Seems they have video and witness so there is nothing alleged about it. As for catching the Thai man. They most likely will simply because of the article written in the news. However I do not expect anything to result in it other than a payoff to the police and fake wais for the cameras to apologise to the foreigner.

As far as I know it, if the bike was stationary the Thai man was at fault for hitting a stationery object, else a lot of trees and electricity poles would get charged

Except the trees and poles are not usually in the middle of the street. That street is more like an alleyway than a full fledged street.

WOW

What a bummer night for the arab.

First his rented bike won't start and he looks like a fool in the street.

Then his bike gets bumped by a Thai.

Then he gets a smack in the face.

And worst of all he's late for the arab street races.
