    The indiscriminate bombing of Gaza by the Israeli's just shows that the Israeli's don't really care about the hostages all that much.  They continue to prosecute this war with no regard to human life

    Start a fight and when the bigger tougher guy start fighting back call for a ceasefire

  • The hacking apart of Thai workers with farm implements as Hamas boys held them, chanting Allah Akbar, indicates Hamas does not care too much about Thai workers also

copied and pasted, not typed. Try providing some links and debating the content of my posts for a change

Too many people here relying on Hamas figures for civilian deaths, since when did terrorists not lie through their teeth?

Anyway back on topic, Thailand can blame Hamas again for not releasing more Thai hostages. Hamas broke the hostage/prisoner swap ceasefire deal last time after a week despite promising it would keep it going. There is talk that a new one may be in the offering soon, hopefully!!

Meanwhile the US says it is hopeful that further talks could lead to the release of more hostages.

The US Middle East envoy has been in Qatar to discuss the possibility of such a deal, White House national security spokesperson John Kirby said on Tuesday.

The discussions were "very serious and intensive", he added . "We are hopeful it will bear fruit and bear fruit soon."

@ozimoron

In your haste to copy/paste another pointless reference, you forgot the link. Looks like your own contribution, although had doubts given the style.

I didn't make the claim. Your beef is with the ICRC, not me.

Now we're coming thankfully towards the end. You're down to sophistry and misrepresentation; once you get there, there's not long before you throw your toys out of the pram and storm off declaring victory.

Read this carefully. The ICRC claims that disproportionate response is a war crime. They do not give a black and white definition of what "disproportionate" is, and it does not demand a standard of "one to one" for damage. This is entirely made up whole cloth by you to support your opinion. The ICRC did NOT declare the Israel is undertaking their current operation with disproportionate force. If you want to understand more about proportionality and how one might determine it, then look at their case study on operation Cast Lead from 2008-2009. It's the same players so very relevant. You'll find all of your beliefs to be incorrect and your absurd ideas about proportionality to be those of a child, not an informed and rational adult. No doubt though, you'll just cherrypick a few sentences that support your case. The weight of the document proves how wrong that is.

Now I ask again. Which country has been involved in war and not engaged extensively in war crimes according to your definition? You've been asked twice. What's your answer?

Kfir Biba will be one year old today (if he is still alive) Kfir was taken hostage by the vile, inhuman, terrorists from Hamas on 7th October last year, and has now spent a quarter of his precious young life as a hostage of this vile death cult.

Does anyone know what time the flag waving, chanting, protest, demanding his immediate release starts in London tomorrow

and here's why. The vile, inhuman Natanyahu is showing his true genocidal intentions, saying the quiet part out loud. The truth is that Israel has never wanted a Palestinian state. Here is the war criminal Netanyahu using the "River to the sea" language. It's disgusting.

@ozimoron

This is just you and your over the top comments, again.

Netanyahu, like most politicians, says a lot of things. Mostly stuff in the service of his political fortunes. That you read some deep, coherent, extreme ideology into it shows how little you actually know. His main focus was never the Palestinians (or for that matter, Israel), Netanyahu is about Netanyahu.

As for Israel not wanting a Palestinian State - well, the Palestinians took that path long ago, and I don't recall you condemning or even criticizing them for decades lost to this rejectionist position. As for identifying Netanyahu's views with 'Israel's' - that's one of them things you regularly do. Not much into accuracy, more about the rants - that's your posting style.

The usual 'war criminal' bit is, again, something you toss about - not a fact. Again, not something you routinely use when referencing Hamas leadership, and obviously, not so 'disgusted' by the use of 'river-to-the-sea' when applied by Palestinians and their supporters.
