Very smart comment.

The government owns the road  - anyone can park in front of your shop, even for a week?

For example in Pattaya if you park in front of some shops/bars etc and they tell you....'no park here'...and you just lock your car and walk to your destination, probably many times upon return to your car you'll find a flat tire, scratches, broken wipers etc. And sadly no recourse. Just better to find another parking spot.

Charging for toilet for non-customers is OK.

Claiming the stretch of public street in front of your business as a parking spot for your business is not OK.

It's the same with parking !!

You have a space outside your beer bar or shop and some Bxastard wants to park their motorcycle there !!!

You do not pay rent for the road! suck it up.

I have no idea if they are Russian but definitely East European

I was in a  beer bar  in Jomtien in a Soi back in September

Quiet day time no customers only the farang owner and he is having a conversation with me .

Up comes a family I presume are Russian with two small kids

They want to use the toilet inside.

Toilet ! Toilet ! Toilet !

Shouts the woman holding a toddler by the hand  in a European accent

The bar owner hesitates then points inside ,then without a nod or word the family proceed inside past us

10 minutes later they walk out ,the bar owner looks at them ,they totally ignore him and proceed to walk past him without a glance ,smile or a thanks

He goes to check on the toilet and is shouting

"They Shxtted over the seat he shouts

Shxtted everywhere the disgusting pigs !

They left the diaper !

The farang owner is getting the mop and dry wretching

Family holidays?....without lack of public toilets

Would you  as a beer bar owner let a family use your facilities ?

I never ever would be a beer bar owner. So I'm not into that matter. However, if he doesn't like his job he should look for another opportunity.🙏

Not surprised if Russians.

Moscow Times, April 2, 2019:

More than one-fifth of Russian households do not have access to indoor plumbing, according to official statistics obtained by the RBC news website on Tuesday.

Russia leads the developed world with the worst sanitation record, according to the London-based WaterAid NGO. A 2012 estimate citing official data placed the number of Russians whose households are only equipped with outhouses at 35 million, or roughly a quarter of the population.

I'm not sure ,you have a point ☝️

Yes he has , there' not enough parking spaces in most streets and the Shops Don't Own the road It'a Public road so one can park Anywhere, But it ain't Safe all the time to park in front of a shop if there's no other space .Better do a Block run and see if one space comes vacant where one has to go.

Apart from living most of the year in LOS (Thai  wife) I/we also have permanent Residence (HKID ) in Hong Kong (20yrs working there) and one thing is pleasantly obvious every time  I go over there..

PUBLIC TOILETS are everywhere !

Hygienic, and well maintained.

I guess it was due to having been a former British colony.

As for here, the only "public toilet" I have seen and used is in the local wet market and costs 5 baht to enter.

In general its about manners and asking nicely.

As to the parking, sorry but it is not your road.

Some places put up signs "patrons only" to stop casual use.

It's very difficult to find an acceptable toilet in HK.

Many toilets are kept locked.

At least, this was my experience.

In Chiang Mai, toilets are quite clean in the malls.

I do not use toilets in restaurants or at gas stations.

The toilets at the university are very well maintained, and plentiful.

The students keep the place presentable.

The students at CMU are excellent.

NOTE:  In fact, it's extremely difficult for me to find anything to complain about around here...(valid complaints, I mean).

Can't have those in Pattaya. Farang would use for short-times to avoid paying for a room.

Yeah, they talked about public toilets at Pattaya beach several years ago.  Who would clean them? Plus, I bet certain entities would be hanging out there looking for customers.  Probably would just end up as stinky holes full of the smell of feces and semen.

Kata Phuket has a ladies , gents , toilet. There is a man outside who takes 10 baht or something and gives you three pieces of loo paper. He’s earning, the WC is nearly clean, and everyone happy.  Also in shopping malls everywhere they have ladies cleaning. No money is asked but I always leave a tip. Otherwise, don’t see why people can’t have a coffee, bottle of water, while asking for loo. Education.
