When do I have to leave

The 30 days includes arrival and departure days. So if you arrive 31 Jan you would need to leave by 29 Feb (stamped out by immigration before midnight on 29th)

Thanks for your replies, I asked the question on behalf of my ex wife, who's coming to visit, She's decided not to risk the overstay, as she's flying to Cambodia when she leaves here.

Depending on her pp country .,

Many folk are visa exempt to Vietnam.

Having said that ......as others have suggested a one overstay is not a problem

I think it was written as 24 hours, but google translate could not see it properly, (as it is a stamp and not a hand written time).
