5km on the treadmill....under 30 mins......one hour weights....one hour in the pool.....everyday.

Cereal for breakfast, fruit for lunch, salad for dinner....no smoking, no alcohol.

Got me from 90kg to 74kg.

Good on you mate. My exercise routine quite similar except that my weight routine is repetitions rather than heavy weights. Twice a week in the gym and weekend tennis. Gave up smoking a long time ago and no alcohol. Weight under control at 72kg. Like to go lower for my 1.7 m height.

What is your exercise regimen

There's no reason why most of us here shouldn't be exercising 1 hour every day.

An hour a day is quite easy, turn off the TV for an hour, turn off the computer screen for an hour or instead of 8 hours sleep a night try 7 hours.

I read the world now has 1 billion obese people.

Its great to be alive, try harder folks, your health is more important than watching the TV and AN forum comments.

Fast walk early in the morning, every morning, 10 km.

That's all.

Swim Cycle Run.

Yes, a former triathlete.

Yesterday completed a February 1000km cycle challenge - reached 1012km on my hybrid MTB (ie not a 'road' bike), over 8200km on these wheels since buying in May.

We (+ wife) did two running events in February, that's six since November, have three more booked through to May, a dead spot in April with just one but missed out on that one as the max entry number limit was reached. Evenings we'll often be walking at the local park / sports complex while daughter uses their gym.

Swim at local 25m pool and more often in the sea as a break on cycle rides, beach is a nice 36km loop ride from home.

No gym, prefer simple outdoors exercise.

If you're exercising, eating healthy in average shape 7 hours a night is ample.

Well done....72kg sounds just about right for your height.

I'm thinking some of you guys are OVER DOING it , looking at training schedules on here ...some of you are doing 2 hours a day !

Isn't that too much at older age?

I have a friend in Chiang Mai who goes to a gym every day for 2 hours, then has a swim.

He is 93 yo.

I know lots of guys that spend a couple of hours in the gym everyday but they're not fair dinkum, spending most of the time chatting with other gym users, very little fitness, it's a social club for them.

You're probably right.

My guy does not chat, he's serious. I know, because I have watched his workout. Puts me to shame.

I find the best "social" type gyms if you want to make friends are the boxing or martial arts gyms

In normal gyms people have their headphones on
