Karon – A father has been pronounced dead at the scene while his 12-year-old daughter has survived after a truck tumbled down a hill in Karon.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 7:00 P.M. in Soi Patak 12 on the Patak Road on Karon Hill.

 

They arrived at the scene to find the truck which was carrying a crane down the hill.

Very sad story....

I don't know all the details but I have seen so many vehicles or trucks carrying way over their load capacity or in such poor shape in Thailand that these types of accidents are bound to happen.

Slight down slope, wide main 4 lane road, past the bends.  Not sure how he crashed ?

Not really a crane, it called a Hiab. but yeh.

It looks like that the truck has it's own. Hiab  Crane mounted behind the cab for Self Loading and unloading
